They live to beat us. That's their problem. They are the coyote to our road runner. Their entire existence is based on beating us, but they don't, then they slink away for a while, get some gumption and think this next time will be the time. And then it's not. It's actually sad. They are almost as bad as the tranny/pink haired/commie libs trying to take out Trump.

Serious question for the Ags: if you base your entire identity as a university around hating Texas and beating Texas, only to then lose to Texas, then what’s the point of it all? Might as well do what OP subject line suggests.

Serious answer. There is no point.
That's why some of us were so excited to join the SEC. Because it meant the old guard Ags who based EVERYTHING on how it compared to Texas would finally have to start focusing on A&M, and the new generation of Ags could focus on A&M without being polluted with the never ending anti-Texas paradigm that has plagued this schools athletics for over a century. For some of us, getting away from Texas had nothing to do with Texas. It had everything to do with stamping out the toxic culture that has been way too deeply ingrained in A&M for way too long.
Getting the Texas game back on the schedule is a death sentence for A&Mrs athletics hopes. Not because Texas will win more often than not, which they probably will. But because it puts the toxic old ags back in the drivers seat. And they're going to drive us right to embarrassment and irrelevance. Because "tradition". Because that's the way it's always been.
