Chandler Bing commits to Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt has landed 6-foot-6, class of 2025 wing Chandler Bing, he announced on Tuesday night. 

Bing is an under the radar recruit that only held reported offers from Vanderbilt, Sacramento State, Troy and Georgia State. The Atlanta native is a former Texas State commit who was an all-state first teamer in Georgia. 

The Pace Academy forward visited Vanderbilt on Feb. 23, the day it beat Ole Miss 77-72.

Bing averaged 19.3 points, 6.2 rebounds. 2.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game in his senior season while demonstrating his ability to slash, handle the ball on the perimeter and get out in transition. The 6-foot-6 wing is a late riser that jumped to 19.3 points after averaging 13.5 his junior season, 6.2 his sophomore season and .8 per game his freshman season.
