Nobody except Auburn with his 1,000,000 railroad cars full of baggage would have given him the time of day much less hired him. Only the most bottom of the barrel from a morale standpoint program would hire freeze.

Liberty does not count it is a cult and Freeze conned them.

You might have an outlaw private high school like Briarcrest who is looking for a coach and somebody who can dress code 15 year old girls.
Or FSU who allows anything to happen.

I say he moves to Vegas and opens his own Bunny Ranch. He will be the owner and best customer. He can call it "Uncle Hugh's Honey Hole".

He will also do Preaching on the side.

To answer the question seriously- he would get hired but it would be a lower level program because that's what he is as a coach.

Matching his talents as a coach to the ceiling of a program, in other words him being at the right level, will eventually see him at a program like UCF, West Virginia, Cincinnati, or Texas Tech. I would say Auburn and Ole Miss are probably one tier above the programs, but when Auburn fires him he isn't going to fall up again. He will probably have to go back down to the Liberty level before eventually working his way back to a similar job mentioned above- and it will be accepted that he's at the right level. Some guys are just average coaches and belong at average programs.

Can he coach baseball??? There's an SEC poser team that hasn't won a conference game yet.... and they may want to call Freeze.

The Ole Miss Dumpster program would jump on him in a heartbeat after Lane takes his move next season

Did you ever play Stratego? If you did, you may remember that the most powerful piece on either side was the Marshal. The Marshal would defeat any other non-Bomb unit, with one exception - the Spy. The Spy was the weakest piece on the board and could not defeat any other unit, except for the Marshal. Its only function was to be the kryptonite of the strongest piece in the game.

That's Hugh Freeze - the Spy of college football. His one claim to fame was that he could defeat the Marshal, a.k.a. Nick Saban. But where does the Spy go when the Marshal has retired? What else can he hang his hat on?

While fishing in Destin this morning I saw a female Auburn fan with a Freeze warning shirt on. She had green hair and weighed 450 and had 2 skinny guys with her wearing Tennessee shirts.

Funny thing is, he is cosplaying as a Bama fan to begin with, he's never been to Tuscaloosa.
