We must not have watched the same game.

And I've generally ignored this from the Cocks, but y'all have to man up and get a grip. We've all had games where they didn't call a pick 6 or a strip and score for us. You're not the only team this has happened to.
I just watched the replay, and you know what? You still had the lead and just took the ball away, with 6 minutes to go. You want to win, you finish the game out. It was still your advantage at that point.
You want to make the playoffs, you still had just one loss at that point. Don't lose the Bama game and you're in. I'd say that about the Ole Miss game, but that wasn't in doubt ever.

Lol, only LSU fans really believe that game was horribly officiated equally.

Only an Alabama fan could suggest this and actually believe it.
Alabama has ranked dead last mutliple times over the years for opponents getting penalties.
For some reason, teams suddenly get less penalties when playing Alabama.

In the case of Aaron Murray he had thrown a pick and was moving into position to try and make a play. Blocking him.was not unnecessary,.Today its probably flagged but in 2012 its a legal block.

Blind side / Targeting hits like this are why the 2 rules were implemented. Today, this is an ejection 100%.

That was not targeting. Legal block there was no such thing as targeting..Had that ball carrier broken that tackle Murray would have been in position to make a play he SHOULD have been blocked.
To make a correction it was Quinton Dial and NOT Damien Square that made the entirely legal block.

Tell your player to not blind side someone who can’t make the play
1. It wasn't a blind side block, nor was he flagged for a blind side block.
2. The following image was taken at the moment the 100% legal block occurred. If Pussmeier can't cover 7 yards before our DB runs 15 yards, then he's the slowest QB in the nation and has no business playing D1 ball. Since he's playing D1 ball and he's not the slowest Qb on the planet, we have to assume he would be able to close the distance between himself and the db in the allotted time (and this doesn't even consider him talking the angle.) Therefore, he COULD HAVE made the play and was 100% legally blocked.
In short the refs protected the wrong team and cost SC a playoff spot.

Of course it was a blindside block, and even though the ref didnt signal that as the penalty, it was still 15 yards as it should have been.

That was not targeting.
That was forcible contact to the head of a defenseless player, which isnt allowed anymore.

I get protecting QB's in the pocket. If they throw a pick and try to get in position to make a play then treat them like anyone else.As far as Murray goes the block was legal

Ref audio wasn’t working, so how do you know? We know they called a 15 yard personal foul and we know it was an illegal blindside block due to the forcible contact.
Because blind side block has its own signal and it's not what the ref signaled.

Blindside blocks arent legal. Forcible contact to the head isnt allowed on blindside blocks, which is the 2nd infraction.
