SEC Heisman winners by school:
Oklahoma: 7
Alabama: 4
LSU: 3
Auburn: 3
Florida: 3
UGA: 2
Texas: 2
ATM: 1
The most surprising of the Zero List is Tenner ( although I think Peyton was robbed on 1997)

Didn’t George Rogers @ USCe win the Heisman?

Closest we've come is Tim Couch

He’s too busy thumping himself on the chest and patting himself on the back for anything that facts are easily ignored….

They would never allow Miss State to have a Heisman winner. Even if we had far and away the best player it wouldn't happen.

Us too I guess. I’ve seen it happen.

McFadden should have won it.
It was bullshite that Dak didn’t even make it to the finalists for us

We’ve had several finalists. It will happen at some point

It’s overrated. Bama didn’t have one its first 90 years of playing. Still dominated college football most of the 20th century. I didn’t grow up hoping for them to have Heisman winners. I vaguely remember Pat Sullivan winning it then Bo Jackson but it didn’t mean that much to me. Still doesn’t.
It’s cool and all that we have four now, but I’m prouder of team championship trophies. Case in point, this year’s winner was on a 3-loss team that is playing in something called the Reliaquest Bowl and hoping for a top 20 finish. I would consider that a disappointing season.

Brady Cook and Luther Burden will both be invited to the ceremony next season, but only 1 will be able to win. I believe Burden is more likely

Chase finished 4th in 2007.
Since it’s almost always a QB, doubtful.

We've had a finalist that finished 4th.

I really don't care. Winning the Gator bowl this year would mean more to me than a Heisman winner

What’s lost in all of this are the awards given to other players for great performances. The heisman popularity contest is overrated and overhyped and is more times than not a complete joke.
The other awards are pretty accurate.

Mizzou gets a generous share of media attention whenever they are remotely good, largely due to having a lot of grads in said media. That same media picks the winner, so there is a decent chance we get that award someday.
