I think it's a smart move. He knows he can derp around in Auburn and no one will notice because Auburn fans don't care about basketball, and then when he's rehabilitated his image he can come back to Tennessee, riding into Knoxville on an orange stallion.

This is a legit topic. Bruce Pearl jumped on his first offer at a less than prestigious basketball school. I think that's obvious...
Having said that, he's about to frick up the state of Alabama in recruiting and surrounding areas. As a Mississippi State fan, I'm not happy with this hire. We usually pull some good 'croots out of AL.
