So you guys agree with the same computers that have UL-Lafayette ranked ahead of Oregon and Georgia?

The one I'm lookin at has ULL at 43 with the 134th ranked sos.

Oregon is 16 with the 43rd sos
Ga is 31 with the 13th sos

So you're comparing Oregon's and WV's conferences to Boise's and saying that's the same?

Good to know.

The Pac12 and Big East are 2 of the worst conferences out there. SEC, Big 12, Big Ten are all better. Maybe the ACC too.

I'm not saying Bama chose to have a lesser sched. They didn't know Florida and Penn sT would suck. Penn sT is a miss sT type win. Period. Till they get rid of the figure head.

Oregon and WV

This is pretty funny...since the Ducks are so awesome and such.

Oregon's D has given up:
516 yards to Nevada.
480 yards to Arizona.
465 yards to Cal.
289 yards to Missouri State.
273 yards to LSU.

I can see why the Tigers hold them in such high esteem.

I didn't compare the conferences, however, the level of competition each will face, within their conference, isn't exactly strong.

wow.

On a side note. The computers love Bama, that's 2 that will be used that has Bama at #1 with a solid lead.

Still deflecting and denying all the posts that actually call into question Oregon and WVU's competition (which has been shown to be absolute shite thus far).

Oregon and WVU have destroyed that shitty competition like good teams should.

There's a reason the BCS rankings aren't used until the season has fleshed out. It's because the computer formulas do not work with so few games played. There's no debate that LSU has played the more difficult schedule between LSU and Alabama. Mind boggling that Oregon is averaging 50 points a game (#2 scoring offense) after playing LSU too.

Even if WVU and Oregon have played shite competition.. so has Penn St, and both Oregon and WVU would beat Penn St by 3 TDs minimum.

Because they have.

Oregon is the best team either has played.

The transitive property does not work in football... do we all agree?

It is tough to compare schedules for many reasons, one reason being the different influences on a game. Both LSU and Alabama have played good and bad teams, agree?

Who's to say that some "bad" teams don't play a little better for some games? Or maybe "good" teams don't play bad in some games.

I really think this conversation is irrelevant, now, yesterday, and at the end of the season.

Maybe Arkansas, Oregon, and West Virginia tank down the line. What if Miss. St., Florida, Kent St., and Penn State win the rest of their games. It really has nothing to do with the team Bama and LSU played on that particular gameday.

You made it sound like none of them winning their conference was an achievement. I didn't see any differentiation in your statement.

Oregon faces #7 Stanford and #15 Arizona State within their conference. WV faces Rutgers, Pitt, Syracuse, etc. Boise's toughest conference foe looks to be TCU.

If you are going to be a "stats and numbers" guy, don't be surprised when you get called on it when you whiff.

Yes... the computers don't like LSU as much right now. Looking like Bama or Oklahoma for BCS #1?

Thanks to playing Florida yesterday. Before that, Bama had played a tougher schedule. Lsu will have the more difficult one from here on out, no doubt. Bama sets up for a great schedule this year overall. Remaining schedule:

@ Ole Miss
Tennessee
Bye
Lsu
@ Miss St
Georgia Southern
@Auburn
@ Georgia Dome
@ NC game
