Why do LSU fans seem to hate Notre Dame ?

For me, they need to join a conference(I get why they dont) and that ridiculous NBC contract they have or used to have.
Other than that, they're just another big10 team.
But you could also insert any other team into your title and I could find reasons.

Why is everyone all of a sudden... ND fans? Is there wasn't a HC connection the this place would likely be pissed that an independent team was in the national championship game. But hey, I like lucky charms cereal.... does that make me a ND fan?

ND hasn’t been liked in 25 years - all the sudden a black coach becomes their coach they are the talk of town like Deion. Strange. Most people in south hated them before. Very strange. It’s was crickets when Northern Illinois beat them.

I am no fan of ND. They belong in a conference. They have one foot in the threshold with the ACC. They play 5 teams out of that league every year, and the strength of schedule indicates what they are doing. I did watch them last night and I was pulling for Penn State. Both teams were very well coached which I think is what Bama and LSU both need. They have better coaches in my opinion.
