BAMA had it in the 50's. Don't see any Arkansas pics of a script "A" from that period..

It's a different A, goofy. Ours has a pointed toe where as theirs looks more like a court jester.

False. BAMA had the script A when the Braves were in Milwaukee

A&M's worthless win over Bama in 2012 gave them a sense of belonging.

And the Gumps just like that Aggies don't use their teeth.

Usually.

Same reason Texas copied Tennessee's interlocking UT and now their Power T. Easier to copy than create.

False. Bama's script A logo was created first in 1976 (a decade after the Braves moved to Atlanta), and it was updated to its current look in 2001.

False. Bryant was wearing the script A in 1958.

Wrong. Alabama had the A as far back as Bryant coming in at least. I'd have to check but I believe there is a frank Thomas pic from around 1930 and he has an A on his jacket. Anyway, Bama was using it Waaay before the braves moved to Atlanta.

It has been updated though...unlike the A they use for this site.

Our "script A" is just a baseball cap logo. Most schools have actual mascot logos. Sorry you don't.

We have one of the best logos in college sports.

Bama's is kind of a gay cursive style A while Arkansas is more olde English style and it's pretty much used for baseball. You know that already though.

It's not the first time Arkansas copied an Alabama logo...
