Old coach back in the day from USC, Frazier or the old guy that coached at LSU? Lol!

My bad you are right. I know who he is, had brain fart!

Google him. You will find out he is considered one of the best coach of all time in college baseball. That old fart from LSU isn’t even in the top 10.
My Top 5 All-Time-
1. Rod Dedeaux- 11 national championships all with same team.
2. Augie Garrido- 5 national titles
3. Mike Martin- 2,029-736-4 record. All with same team. All-Times win holder.
4. Gene Stephenson- 1,768-675-3 record. All with same team.
5. Jim Morris- 1,594-716-4 record

Augie gave some great, completely unhinged speeches.

Players these days are too soft to play for him. he would be fired before mid season these days. He retired right in time.

So Skip Bertman, a 5 time college world series winning coach is not in your top 10 college baseball coaches of all time? Hahaha. What a fricking dumbass you are.

Great coach yes. but he isn’t even in the top 100 in all time wins as a HC. Paul Marinara is 11th in all time wins. Skip has less than 900 wins.

There’s a better one in the locker room I can’t link right now, but if you want to keep having a reasonable discussion Bertman is easily Top 5.

Ok, Bertman Top 10 definitely. But the 5 I named are legendary.
1. Rod Dedeaux- 1,342 wins, 11 National Titles. All at 1 school.
2. Augie Garrido- 1,950 wins(2nd most All-Time) 5 National titles.
3. Mike Martin- 2,029 wins(most all time).
4. Gene Stephenson- 1.768 wins, all at 1 school. 1 national title. rebooted the baseball program at Wichita State in 1978 after it had been shut down for seven years and quickly turned the Shockers into a national powerhouse.
5. Jim Morris- 1,594 wins. 2 nation titles
Skip Bertman- 870 wins, 5 national titles. There’s an argument for top 10. But he didn’t reboot any program that was shut down and turn it into a powerhouse. And he’s not in the top 100 in all time wins. I went with a combination of Longevity, wins, and titles. Bertman has the titles, but he didn’t do it as long of period as any of the guys ahead of him and barley had half the wins as couple I named.

Only 4 programs have ever won 5 titles, LSU being one of the 4. Continue your troll if you want. Surprised you don't have coach Tony up there you disingenuous trashyC fan.

I'll put a list together when I'm done working on my top 10 tee ball coach list. Probably has some crossover.

To not put skip bertman in your top 5 is so idiotic I can hardly stand it
Posted on 1/28/23 at 9:17 am to tyler925
Everyone I named had twice as many wins and done it longer. If it was solely based on Nattys then yes i would put on top 5. Skip is not even the winningest coach in LSU history. PM had over 1100 wins. Skip had less than 900. Skip is not even in the top 100 in all time wins in college baseball history.

Why don’t you make a top ten list after you finish with these nuts, douchebag!

Yeah, it made that dude’s whole list irrelevant. Skip is second at worst.

1,700 wins or 2,000 wins is far form irrelevant. If it was solely based in national titles I would put him #2 or #3. But I looked at more than just national titles. Skip didn’t have half the wins as the top 3. Hell he not even the winnings coach at LSU. PM has over 1,100 wins. Again Skip is not even in the top 100 in all time wins. Top 10 sure. But 11 national titles at 1 school, or 2000+ wins all at one school, or restarting a program that was shut down for 7 years and winning 1500 games at 1 school, is more impressive to me.

I don't care if he has 400 wins. Give me the titles
