Who has the bigger melt? A&M losing to Texas or Vice Versa?

Let me just say, I am STOKED to have Texas vs Texas A&M back. This conference needed some real hatred added to it.

That said, what If Texas comes in their first SEC year and just whips that arse?

What if A&M waxes them?

These are the real questions. Bonus points if they're both at 7ish wins.

Aggie losing would cause the bigger meltdown. Longhorns are used to losing their rivals and pretending like they dont care.

It's not comparable who melts down more.

I don't really care who loses because both programs suck. They are only in the SEC for revenue.

Doesn’t matter. But it would be great to ruin the sips season

SECRANT will melt, regardless of the outcome.

The only thing this board knows how to do is melt.

If nothing else, people melt over the lack of melt from the other fanbases.

Melt.

I think us losing to aggie would be the bigger melt. Veteran QB, experienced o-line and all of this coming off of a season when we were about 13 yards away from playing for the national title.

I have seen enough Longhorn psychological implosions to know we could definitely lose in college station this fall, but our fanbase is not mentally ready for that actuality...not by a longshot.

By the time we get to playing A&M, I would love for our season to be in the position of being "ruined".

Aggies melt more.

Longhorns lose and they will claim football doesn’t really matter and point to their record since the 1800’s.

Longhorns would melt twice: once for losing the game and again after A&M prints a cup to commemorate the win.

I don't know if Texas would melt more than A&M with a loss...

but A&M would be more insufferable on the board with a win than Texas would.

Longhorns aren’t our rival.

Really not a fan of this mind set.

Sure it would be great to beat the sips anytime we play them. But personally I'd rather beat them to solidify a great season for A&M rather than play only as a potential spoiler to texas' great season.

When our fanbase defaults to spoiling another program rather than set succesa expectations for our own program, that's how we end up with a 'good enough' mind set.

ie "we went 7-5, but at least we beat texas." I want no part of that mind set in our future.

Don't be shocked if LSU loses to USC this coming season.

If Texas beats Georgia and OU and are on track to be undefeated, then A&M beats them, Texas will have a huge melt.

But overall if Texas comes in and beats the Aggies on kyle field, A&M will be the biggest bitches about it for sure no matter the records of both teams.

When longhorns suck they just beat their chest about what they used to be. They are oblivious to sucking.
