Who goes first: Ewers or Sanders?

That would've been an interesting question at the start of the 2024 football season. Beck was no. 1 on most boards then. Funny how fast things can change.

If I had to guess, it'll be Ewers. The Raiders spent a lot of time with him (from what was reported), and even with Geno, they still have a need for a backup QB. At this point, I don't think Sanders will get drafted, or if he does, it'll either be as the last pick of the draft as a FU to his father, or Dallas will take a flyer on him to cash in on merchandise sales.

Obviously Beavis made the right call. Ewers and Sanders nor so much.

I’m beginning to think Payton Thorne goes before both of them.

It depends on who can sign their name on the UDFA contract fastest I'd suppose.

Some team will throw a flyer at Sanders in the 4-5, Quinn goes late 5th I think

So how did Sanders go from being a top 10 pick to where he is now?
Full ESPN MEDIA HYPE?
bombed interviews?

Both that and arrogance.
Espn is in the entertainment business and can be wrong as much as they want, there are no ramifications its all about eyeballs watching.
The NFL is also entertainment but you have to put a quality product on the field otherwise your value suffers plus they all want to win so you can not just draft on the media hype alone. Also reports are he interviewed historically bad, no idea if that's true but I haven't seen one interview where he is humble and appears ready to learn and grow. I think that's off-putting to NFL teams who also have their own level of arrogance and I Dont think front offices and staff want to deal with it.

Sanders fall is…LEGENDARY
Maybe Jerry Jones will take him with a pity pick, just to say he was drafted. This whole family needed a dose of humility and reality. The usual suspects, see Keshon Johnson, are playing the race card. It makes no difference how many black players, or other black QBs are drafted ahead of him, the “man” is keeping him down.

We were told both would win the Heisman and be the number one draft pick several times by their fan bases

Heard the same about Weigman. Ewers led the Horns to (2) top 4 appearances.
How did Weigman do?

Based on who interviewed better and I have seen some "experts" say Sanders interviewed like an entitled Brat.

Ewers injury history and then the Georgia benching have to be the big knocks on him.
Although, he can argue the Georgia benching was bad Texas game planning and Sark grasping at straws in the moment.

Arch couldn't beat out undrafted Ewers? How bad does he suck.

Quinn outscored OU 113 to 37, so even if Arch is a step down we should still beat that arse.
