Which team is first to break out of the cellar; Auburn or Florida?

I think it's Florida. Napier showed a lot of improvement with Florida as the year went. I can't say the same for Auburn. It seems that Auburn still has a hot dumpster fire burning internally.

The frick you even talking about? We just stacked another top recruiting class and signed a pretty good Qb in the portal. We'll see.

Middle of the pack in 2025 with playoffs in sight for 2026 seems to be the trajectory.

I loathe Florida but they will give some teams fits next year if DJ stays healthy. Florida is the correct answer.

Hugh Freeze will self sabotage before you guys get playoff momentum going in 2026.

I do gotta give props to y'alls recruiting, have been on fire even with less than stellar on the field results.

I expect both to be better next year. Auburn would have to improve alot more next season to end up equal with Florida, I think.

Mississippi State and Kentucky will still be bringing up the rear.

If you dont think signing top classes year in and year out matter, then you might be an Ole Miss fan

Based on field results, Florida

Based on talent coming in and continuing to trend that way, Auburn

Cant argue with that. Freeze's coaching has left a lot to be desired. This year will be a great indicator on whether we fire his arse or we rise back up as a program

People dont realize just how bad off Auburn was after Harsin ran our program into the ground. We might have had 50 scholarship players when Freeze took over. And most of those were Harsin recruits.

Your coaching staff sucks. Not the head coach but most of the assistants. Your school suffers from weird internal politics which drains the life from the staff. I'll believe Auburn significantly improves when I see it.

Florida actually improved from the beginning to the season to the end...and closed out strong with a good bowl win.

Auburn never showed any improvement from start to finish. If you say they will be better it's just a guess based on recruiting rankings and portal guys they are bring in. They haven't show anyone anything that should give anyone hope.

Auburn

The UAA will sabotage football before it picks up steam like they’re trying to do with basketball

UF is out of the cellar in my book, so they win.

I could probably make a reasonable argument that Auburn may be better setting up to win big sooner than UF is, but it would be with the major/obvious caveat that we might want to have a winning season before we move on to that topic.

It's amazing how Auburn fans completely look past the fact that Harsin intentionally tanked your program after Auburn tried to fire him for cause on bullshite that could have ruined his life. He knew he would be laughing all the way to the bank. All he had to do was just sit back and do nothing and watch it all burn down and force Auburn to buy him out. It was the ultimate revenge.

I mean honestly, you couldnt name three position coaches on Auburns staff. You may not even be able to name three on your own staff

Not really the case anymore with NIL and Freeze. The program is unified for the first time in my memory

yeah me too. Still not sold on Freeze's in game coaching or his game planning.

Isnt that some shite?! I saw that on 247 a little while ago and couldn't believe it.

Watch these tickets end up in the hands of Tenn fans. If there is even 1 Tenn fan sitting in what should be the student section come tip off, Scott Stricklin should be fired immediately

Thats not the case at all. It may not have shown up in the win column, but we did improve. We just had a Qb that choked under pressure, an OL that was porous and a defense that tired out after being on the field the entire game

Plus we had the worst special teams in the league. Like when the frick does that happen at Auburn?

This year was a, if it can go wrong, it will go wrong type of season
