Arkansas doesn’t count. It’s in Little Rock. Not Fayetteville. The Bush library is actually in College Station.
What does State have? I remember reading this. But it’s not actually a presidential library in the modern sense, is it?

A response thread involving libraries?

At first, I had to do a double-take about Miss. State having a Pres. Library. But, sho'nuff you do! The Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library! To think I thought you were trying to pull a fast one like, which "State" is he talking about, etc.
Bama, none, Au, none, UF, none, UGA, none, UK, none, LSU, none, UM, none, Mizz, none, SCarolina, none, UT, none, Vandy, none.
You win. Congrats.

The US Grant Library is a true Presidential Library. We also house a huge collection of Lincoln articles. That is what you are thinking of.

Technically I don’t know who owns the material. I would assume the Department of the Interior. It is permanently housed on our campus though.

Coloring books don't count though.

Pretty sure Grant only colored with cannon

No.
The National Archives and Records Administration maintains that authority.

You must not know what bureaus are under the Interior.

Grant owed Alabama the honor. It was under his leadership that the Union army General John Braxton burned the campus in Tuscaloosa.

You are correct. I could give 2 shits really. I know the university didn’t own the archives though.

I think you and General Nicholas Saban have paid him back already

Why in the hell is Grant's library in Starkville? And why in the hell are you proud of it? I can only assume they put it there as some Reconstruction era reminder of defeat.
If others can demand that Confederate monuments be removed, can we demand that these Reconstruction relics be removed?

So you're ok with statues of traitors to the United States of America. But statues of previous presidents/war generals of the United States are bad.
