What is the most intense SEC football rivalry at present?

We're not talking historical here. We're talking in the present moment, all things considered. Who do you got?
I'm gonna go with Ole Miss-Mississippi State.

Alabama/Auburn from an outsiders pov

I’d agree. Mississippi state hates us so much that they snitch on us whenever we get good. That little brother inferiority complex to the next level

Clemson and South Carolina have some real hate even though USC hasn't been relevant and Dabo has taken over

Alabama/Auburn basketball is getting pretty intense

Close one but I gotta say Oklahoma vs playing defense. Next would be Michigan vs firing a second-rate college coach.

Is it though?
Coaches seem to like each other.
I would go with either Florida-LSU or Florida-Georgia. Do any opposing coaches actually like Mullen? He has been successful but he's a bit of a douche. Whereas Spurrier was a master troll who pretty much everyone recognizes now as a legend. I don't think anybody is going to feel that way about Mullen 20 years from now.
Year in, year out it's the Iron Bowl but since you defined "present moment" as your criteria I can't include the Iron Bowl as Auburn fired Gus and the new coach is a bit of a mystery right now.

Yall gotta work on your reading.
SEC
and
Football
I enjoy the Lsu-A&M one. Lots of hate. Crazy game 3 years ago. The last 2 were not competitive, but teach took a turn. Should be the fight for #2 behind Bama in the west this season.

Before Leach and Kiffin were hired, I would agree. Now it's fairly tame thank God. It got toxic for a decade or so while Mullen was there.
Yeah yeah, I know "ItS oNlY tOxIc WhEn StAtE iS wInNiNg CaUsE bEaRs CrY!!"

Alabama/Auburn
From a true historical perspective whereas one of the criteria being competitive games thus is the answer. From a pure hatred perspective LSU hates Alabama with a passion.

From an insider pov, kinda feels pretty muted right now, compared to what it can be. At least to me.

74-72 definitely showed the potential the rivalry has.

Mizzou/Vandy is pretty intense. It brought out the first hoochie poocher.

Egg Bowl is a good one.
Florida/Georgia is getting pretty good lately.
A Georgia fan will be along shortly to say it's Georgia/Florida, but we all know it's not.

I'm sensing a theme with Daniel Mullen.
