There were two good teams in the SEC this year and they are both alive in the playoffs. USC probably was better than Bama or OM at the end of the season but you would have gotten waxed in the first round as well. I agree you have a better claim than Bama does. They struggled to win by 3 early in the season at home, and had an awful loss after.

SC wants credit for playing in the SEC but it didn't even play Tenn, Texas or Georgia.
i feel like SC needs to have at least one win over Tenn, Texas, UGA, Bama or Ole Miss to have any kind of case for being in the playoffs

It was 27 - 3. People talk like this was a 59 - 0 game or something. Sellers and Sanders were both 50% at best for that game. Ole Miss was pissed after a home loss to Kentucky. Very few teams would have played that game any closer.

We may end up as the 3rd highest rank team in the SEC, in the top 10. If that in fact is the case, then we would be playoff worthy in retrospect, in my opinion. Now, it is time to move on to the bowl game and hopefully make our case for the top 10.
