And, just like that, Dude20 was paying a lot closer attention.

He was the quality pitching coach with the Mariners last year when they had a top 2 era in the MLB for starting pitchers.

Dude is a great coach. Was probably the most underrated non- talked about acquisition of the off season.

I’m sure LSU fans will tell you they stole our previous pitching coach.

How’d that work out for them?

SidewalkTurd & 22 other suckers thought it was the coaching move of the century. What a steal!

Thanks for digging that up.

Yeskie is old school.

Weiner is new school. Watching a lot of tape, arm angles, release points, and ball spin.

LSU had a team ERA of 4.36 this year.

That’s lower than last year’s national championship team’s 4.47 era.

Also taking into account that Skenes was on the 23’ team, I’d say Yeskie did a good job.

The pitching staff for LSU improved greatly down the stretch. I would argue that pitching was the reason for the late season turn around.

Max Weiner’s ability to transform this pitching staff from bottom tier to top tier cannot be understated. At 29 years old, in his very first year, he has a an argument for best pitching coach in college baseball.

Remember when Yeskie was the bad guy for not wanting to work with Schloss.

Anyway, congrats to LSU for leading the country in strikeouts.
