Tennessee in, Ole Miss out? I don't agree with this. I'd take Ole Miss before UT.

They had Ole Miss at 13 last week. Palm is low on Ole Miss.

I think ole miss is the better, more complete team than UT and I think OM would win if the two played. But I cna see the argument to have UT higher. Both teams have 1 excellent win. The difference though is that UT has 1 bad loss and 1 good loss while OM has 2 bad losses.

Ummm.... directly from your link...

8. Ole Miss vs. No. 9 Penn State (in Oxford)

Winner plays No. 1 Ohio State

Agree...the point about the losses is a good one.

For the sake of argument, if we are going 2 bad losses, OM's 2nd Best win, @SC is much better than TN 2nd best win (UF or @OU).

I would also argue, @LSU isn't a "bad" loss. It isn't a good loss but I wouldn't call it bad.

Makes perfect sense

or

In reality, if Indiana gets beat by OSU, they are going drop below the 2 loss SEC teams.

Alabama with 3 losses getting in over Tennessee would be the joke

So Alabama should, what? If they're slated for the SECCG just say, "Nah, we're good? We'll sit this one out?"

Punishing teams for making championship games is a slippery slope.

Palm is the only major sports reporter who has Tennessee in over Ole Miss.

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters comes out tomorrow night anyways.

With no divisions and the way the conference is now, you'd have to look at the SECCG loser as the 2nd best team in the conference every year...so obviously the SECCG participants should make the cfp every year.

Unless you have a 3 or 5 team tie with unbalanced schedules. That theory doesn't work

It comes out in 3 weeks. That's the only one that matters

The fact that Notre Dame ISN'T undefeated with that sorry-arse SOS should disqualify them.

Boise State's played a tougher schedule than ND has.
