Do most people feel Notre Dame has never won a national title?
Here's another example:
1966 - Both Notre Dame and Michigan State ended the season 9-0-1. They tied each other in the last game of the season, 10-10. Neither played in a bowl game. Notre Dame was awarded the AP and UPI titles.
