Say what you want about Dabo, but that's impressive by Clemson.

Lowest in the nation. There should be a 60% rule.

Wasn't there a rule at some point, that if you didn't graduate a minimum percentage of players you couldn't participate in the postseason? That seems to ring a vague bell.

Who cares? They are professionals now. The allusion of these guys being student athletes died with the NIL

Not surprising considering a dude like Bennett couldn't even graduate when he was on UGA's campus for FIVE years
If anything, it's actually impressive he managed to stay eligible while not graduating

There was the Academic Progress Rate (APR):

But I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) it was replaced by Graduation Success Rate (GSR):

Right, Carson Beck just bought a $500,000 Lamborghini. There’s no way he’s doing that selling insurance this year.
Who cares about graduating when you get to drive an exotic suv.

Its made even funnier because they pretend they are this incredible academic institution. "Harvard of the South" was the branding at one point.
Their classes aren't harder, professors better, degree better, etc at UGA, the applicant base just gets inflated by the HOPE program

What kind of degrees are we talking about?
We all know that some universities set up "special" degrees from an assembly line pushed through by professors who are on board with coddling certain athletes.

If they really want to fix college athletics, they should make the athletes go through the admissions process with the rest of the students. If they were to do that, it would probably fix the rest of the problems with the NIL and transfer portal.
I think you have to give the power back to the schools, as much as I can't stand the pussies that run things. Many of these athletes just are not real college students.

Georgia can’t even get their players to qualify for enrollment without Kirby giving them a “special probation” period.” Think about it. You or me wouldn’t get that opportunity they would just say our grades or test scores aren’t good enough.
By the time they take basket weaving for a few semesters their grades are suddenly high enough to be let in to school. Nobody else gets that chance.
