These days Atlanta is like a clean version of Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge is my home but it has went to the dogs.

LSU isn't really known for shooting each other after a loss (and in many documented cases, a win).

But BR and Tuscaloosa have zero in common other than an SEC school. Now if you took LSU's campus and dropped it on the Bunkie exit off i49 then I'd say it would be pretty similar.

LSU fans: We're #85 We're #85!!!

You do grasp that the crime rate in baton rouge is almost twice tuscaloosa's crime rate? BR is a war zone. You guys are pretty good at crime but you are exceptional at murder rates. #6 in the country. Very impressive.

Well…they both have a river.

I guess the Mississippi and the Black Warrior are a lot alike. Both are water and flow toward the sea. Oh…Tuscaloosa was once the capital of Alabama.

Both have factories nearby…Tuscaloosa has Mercedes, and Baton Rouge has Acme Corn-Dogs…. The difference is you can let your kids roll down the car windows and sniff in Tuscaloosa without having a tire iron thrown at your car windshield.

That only happens to European American Caucasian white people driving North of Florida Blvd/Government Street.

Typical dumb Gump missing the entire point. I wasn't saying that BR had less shootings. I'm saying LSU fans don't shoot each other after wins and losses, as gumps are so known to do. Reading is hard in gumpland I see.

To the other post, no hate on Bunkie, I'm just saying it would be the equivalent of putting LSU in a small town off an interstate. But Bunkie>Tuscaloosa by far.

I live in South East Louisiana. Baton Rouge wishes it was frickin' Tuscaloosa.

Holy shite, Baton Rouge is unfricking livable. I mean it is one rancid gut pile of a city.

No I got your point. You were trying to shite on the city of Tuscaloosa by pointing out some statistical anomaly where some Alabama fan shot another one after a game and I pointed out that Baton Rouge is a laughing stock because they have one of the highest murder rates in the country. I think I will take some stupid fan shooting another every few years over having a top ten murder rate in the US. But that's just me.

It shouldn’t be happening anyplace. Where it does there are perpetrators that deserve jail time and a criminal record. I have nothing for such people and am glad to see them get what they have coming. The same for those that shoot at people. Those with that mentality need to be locked up or end in a shootout with others like themselves.

Are we comparing bad fan behavior?

I lived in Tuscaloosa for three years. It’s a cow town with a few nice restaurants and bars mixed in. Nothing to write home about. And every other day I was holding my dog in the hallway of my house while the tornadoes passed by.

Knoxville has a beautiful river running through it with beautiful mountains in the background and Neyland and the Vol navy on that river. Nice hilly campus as well.

It's stunning in early fall. Tuscaloosa is like the walmart if shitty small southern cities. If you been to one you have been to all.

Most suck to spend 4 or more years of your college life living in a city riddled with crime. BR is a true cesspool. The nicest thing about it is LoserSU and it is one of the ugliest campuses in the US.

Backtracking now like a typical Gump. T-town is an exit off an interstate with a school. Drop the school in Birmingham or Montgomery and compare crime rates. I wonder how much revenue BR produces versus Tuscaloosa? Tuscaloosa is basically Auburn full of yankees.

As for aggy above? You serious? Aggy's campus looks like an 80s era communist Eastern European town. LSU has always been one for the nicer looking schools.

Also, UT campus > Gump and idk how that argument even possibly came up.

Knoxville > Tuscaloosa in terms of city, sure. But the campuses themselves? Not even close.

Tuscaloosa is pretty meh, especially outside of the downtown/University corridor. The Alabama campus is absolutely gorgeous. Don't think anyone has ever argued against that, even rivals who hate everything about Alabama.

Knoxville is a pretty area of the country but the city is quite boring. I did hook up with a wild UTK Kappa Delta from Hendersonville in a Knoxville bar one night after a game, so I can’t talk too poorly of Knoxvegas.
