I didn't realize our OL was shaky. Thanks for the update.

What you see is a ton of Tide fans who are excited to have a truly elite QB for a change....and you know that you can't blame'em.

We don't know he's truly elite. Hell we don't even know if he's good

I'm gonna take folks like Trent Dilfer and Gary Danielson's word for it....I believe they can identify an elite QB when they see one.

Pretty funny how auburn fans keep comparing a good second half against an Arkansas defense in September to a come from behind win in the national championship. Apples to Apples if I’ve ever seen it. If anything, you buffoons aren’t qualified to judge QB talent. Most of us said he would be a huge disappointment but y’all didn’t want to listen.

It's no doubt tua looks more talented but the premise is the same

Everyone has him a Heisman winner with a half of qb play and yet to start a legit game

It wasn’t just a half of play though. He dominated when he came in as a backup earlier in the season. There’s a reason we were clamoring for him to play. He was killing it in practice and it showed every time he took the field. I’m not sure why we’re acting like his NCG performance was something extraordinary from him. He’d already proven to be an elite passer by that point. Football isn’t rocket science. You could watch throws against Vandy and Tennessee and deduct that he’s really good at throwing a football where he wants it to go.

Arkansas had a top 10 defense that year.

Most of the entire country thought JJ was going to be a special QB, but ok. Even the announcers would rave about him during the 2014 season. You're right, it was only Auburn fans.

I think that's the disconnect. It's silly to have him in that sort of discussion. It's not silly to think he'll be a good QB. Giant gulf between those two.

They will both play well. Tua will have some growing pains, but will overall play very well. Stidham will improve upon last year, so will play very well.

So, I guess Tua, only because some bama fans aren't realistic and will expect him to post 600 yards a game.

Tua because it’s hard to live up to what we saw from him. Small sample size. We already know what Stidham can and can’t do.

The point is you can't have fire without there being heat.

Again you exemplify an old saying, "you can explain something to a fool, but you can't make him understand"

I think they will both be good and that the Iron Bowl will decide the west again.

Both will be good. Tua was fantastic in the championship game. Sure he took a bad sack but made up for it by looking off the georgia safety and burning them on a huge accurate pass to win a natty as if the sack never happened.

They're both awesome.

I don't see either disappointing. Stidham's year of experience will prove valuable as he has less proven experience around him, mainly at RB. Tua has a wealth of talent around him, primarily at RB and OL. WR is talent rich, but a bunch of freshmen and sophomores.

Both should have good seasons.

Tua is a once in a lifetime talent. Dude's accuracy is unbelievable. I know you guys will downvote me because you think I'm just being a homer but I'm telling you...Tua is legendary status.
