To name a few, aggy have for years honored these traditions:
Yell Leaders
Midnight Yell Practice
Not walking on the sacred grass
Ring dunk
Boot slide
Dead dog scoreboard
Bonfire
12th man
Saw the Horns off

After not winning any major championships, don’t you think it’s time for a new tradition and get rid of most of the old ones? They don’t seem to work very well.

As much as I dislike Tamu and their cult-like traditions, they're still infinitely more likeable than the fggts in Austin.

Some of the traditions at A&M are ok. No one mentions kissing your date after a touchdown any longer.

The Bonfire collapse was a tragedy. The reactions after the collapse were worse.

Aggies decided they had to win our game. So, they got the room numbers for our players. (Mack was new and didn’t know that the team should never stay in BCS)

They called the players all night.

Then, for some reason, the staff at the hotel called in sick and couldn’t prepare the pregame meal.

There is more, but I don’t want to bore you.

Now, they build the Bonfire stack off campus. I just hope and pray it never collapses again.

Is that tradition over people? The Aggies don’t think so, but I do.

So you saw bottles got thrown? Well at least you have eyes, but not much self awareness.

Both of those along with the bonfire should be kept. Especially the two you mentioned. Those are truly sacred.
