quote:

Nick Saban assembled arguably two of the greatest offenses in major college football history. He recruited & developed four Heisman trophy winners. Pretty good for a guy who "doesn't understand offense".
Of ALL the OC he hired, he stumbled into 2 that was going through his coach rehab program that had potential under his discipline. And people had some doubts about why he would take a chance on coaches who had such major issues. Granted they seemed to work out great for him. Outside those 2 the rest was not very memorable.

quote:

Saban had his QB twice in Drake Maye & Arch Manning & he barely missed on both. Jalen Milroe was never expected to be a starter. Saban made a conscience decision to roll with him bc he didn't have a viable alternative & won the SEC with his plan B QB.

Saban had a chance to go get QBS out of the portal but he refused to do so. He also allowed the team to dictate who he started at QB because they claimed he "won the lockeroom". When his assistant coaches told him that Milroe was no QB and needed to change positions. When Saban tried to change QB, the team revolted so he caved to their demands.

quote:

When did Malzahn outcoach him in Tuscaloosa? Hint: never. Bama has struggled in JHS since we started playing there & we will continue to struggle in JHS. It ain't great coaching evidenced by our battle with Bryan Harsin - it's the enviroment in the stadium.
In Tuscaloosa? Why the hell should that matter? SO you are blaming the environement? Lol, What a loser mindset. Malzahn had a winning record against Saban. Those are the facts. And he always seemed one step ahead of him in the chess match of thinking. The record proves it.

Now stop trying to changes facts

Milroe, inconsistent as he was with Rees, was far less likely to completely implode last year. Really only happened in the Texas game.
