I have heard people talk of this metric.

You are trying to show me how it is calculated.

Yet…..

I don’t understand what it means.

They should call it the “g-spot” value.

I believe it is showing the best 3 man lineup combo that have the best +point value when the play. For example, when Reed Shepherd is on the floor, his + point is outrageous. It looks like Kentucky, State, Ole Miss and a&m has some great lineup combinations.

So back when Grant Williams was a rookie with the Celtics some stat that I don't pretend to understand showed the Celtics played better when he was on the floor regardless of what his personal stats were. He had an effect on the entire team. Is this like that but with 3 players on the floor instead of 1?
