He approached me and said something like, "You cost us a chance at a national championship!". I replied, "Merely payback for 1959." He laughed and shook my hand and told me he was at the 59 game.

This one never sat right with me. Auburn finishes the season beating UGA and Bama then penalized for losing the rematch when the other team has every psychological advantage. Auburn should have been in the playoffs.
