Nah. Unlike OU, Texas has been recruiting at an SEC level on the offensive and defensive fronts for 4 years now.

I see an SEC that has 8 ranked teams.
I see a Texas team that's played just one of those teams, and got obliterated.
It's a weird self-own, really. You claim the SEC is overrated, and your "proof" is your favorite team being in the lead.
Then anyone with Google and 30 second of free time can see that Texas hasn't played #2, #4, #5, #6, #7, or #9 and got wrecked by #3.

I never said Texas was not overrated.
I just said they are #1.
So if Texas is overrated then that proves the SEC is overrated.

Team A has a soft schedule and is ranked #3 in CFP ranking and #1 in SEC with one loss.
Team A is playoff bound and will most likely play in the SEC CG.
Team B is unranked, #7 in SEC with 3 conf losses and 4 losses overall.
Team B has no shot on CFP or SEC conference title.
Which team would you want to be?

the SEC became over-rated the moment Sankey let a school in that has this outside of its stadium -
