when Texas and OU are in the SEC should the conference keep the tournament as is or expand?
I say go to a 16 team, single elimination format
day one 4 games in Hoover , 4 in Birmingham, then round 2 and beyond all in Hoover.

With the minor league park in Birmingham available I don't see why it wouldn't work with multiple games running concurrently the way you laid it out.

If you include all 16 it would be beneficial from a weather standpoint to have multiple venues
You could do it in Biloxi and Pensacola same way
You could do it in Frisco and Round Rock Texas as well
I think it would be neat to do it that way

Definitely need to make it single elimination.
Let the other conferences run through their arms the week before the NCAA tournament starts.

It is surprising that the Big 12 tournament has globe life, an enormous MLB park, despite the fact that there are maybe 100 people that show up to games. It's... quite depressing looking.
Meanwhile, most games in the SEC tournament are typically a packed house in Hoover Metropolitan. I'm interested to see if they'll ever consider moving to a bigger/newer ballpark, but it seems as if most fans very much enjoy Hoover, as its been there for 25 years now

LSU Texas packed Minute Maid last season
it was like a Omaha crowd that night

Keep it at 12 teams, if you are in the bottom 4, you deserve to sit your sorry arse at home.

I think single elmination, keep it at the current number of teams making it.

Was refreshing to say the least after much of the 2021 season started with limited attendance and cutouts in the stands

Would definitely be nice if they rotated it every now and then to give other areas a chance to be there.

Recently read that Hoover committed several million dollars to facility upgrades to keep the tournament there.
