I don’t have a problem with that because we are obviously on the way up so this will definitely not be the last time we’ll meet each other in Atlanta in the coming years. The LSU/UGA SECCG has become my favorite game over the years. Seems we meet them there more than other east teams lately and it’s usually a decent game. I, too, have respect for them so it just makes for an all around great time.

I’ve never had any problem with LSU, for similar reasons already given by others. My son even decided he likes LSU (because of their colors and Mike the Tiger) and I’m not even mad about that. I’m sure he’ll grow out of it, but he could have picked a worse team to cheer for.

Thats how I’ve viewed it. A natural alliance. Same issues for the most part

Another thing is that truthfully we’ve never cost each other the NC. Maybe a couple SECC. Usually the best team win.
Not only have UGA and FL/AU cost each other NC there have been many instances where the better team lost.

Auburn 1993( Tie), 1996, 2006
Georgia 1942, 1997, 2000

Also 1998 LSU was best road game I’ve ever been to. Tigers were ranked higher. LSU fans super awesome before game. And very tolerable after game considering outcome. Both teams thought we’d be good. LSU turned out to be complete arse, UGA mostly arse.

When I was at LSU everyone circled the Athens trip on the calendar, even the year before. That was almost unanimously everyone's favorite away game.

I think UGA is my next favorite Uni. Hanging out with the GA peaches on spring break back in the day was supreme fun. Still have that Chi-O tshirt somewhere…We must have had the same SB schedule back then in the mid 90s. Wow what a digress.
Seem like a classy bunch. Almost makes losing to them not as bad. Just kidding F that!

im not too worried about it, they are pretty much unbeatable at the moment, kind of like we were in 2019.
they can give us shite, but i doubt they will much because the UT fans have become raging tards and take all the attention.

My middle brother (no pics) went to UGA. I’ve enjoyed a few very fun trips to Athens and usually root for the dogs when they’re not playing LSU. No real animosity between these fan bases.
