SEC Bottom teams this year, Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma. They all spend a lot of money on college football, they still put in a lot of effort into the program to do well. You can not say the same about any other conferences bottom teams.

You add this on top of the fact that somehow the top Big Ten teams avoid each other on the schedule. Ohio St., Michigan, Penn St., Oregon, USC.
Half of these teams don't even get matched up in the regular season.

Michigans schedule next year is a similar level of bad to Indianas this year, their 2nd hardest game is Oklahoma (OOC Weaker SEC team)
The only team who got an "easier" SEC schedule is Texas. They somehow got rewarded for joining the SEC.

Ignoring this is how you know the committee is all about money and not serious about actually picking the best football teams

that and ND getting in

This will sound sappy. But it really does just mean more to it. We at Arkansas pledge to always keep carrying our money torch and showing up, no matter how many times we shoot ourselves in the dick. I am at least grateful and proud of this.

Arkansas has had really good years too, it hasn't been recently, but I will always remember the McFadden years.

Tennessee and Texas had identical schedules outside of Tennessee playing Alabama and Texas playing Texas A&M. Both of those teams went 5-3 in conference.

Problem is we’ve been talking forever how bad Penn state is. They never beat Ohio State and Michigan They lose those two and beat the weaker teams and are ranked top 10 by end of year.
