I thought it was reported to be more than that.

1 - Michigan- overpaid
2 - Oklahoma- slightly overpaid
3 - LSU - Good deal, maybe underpaid
4 - Barn - zero chance that is the number. Given their history - Overpaid

Agree on #1.

#2 and #4 are hard to evaluate because of OU's OL.

#3 - if that's what he was paid, he was over paid considering what is in their QB room and what they have coming in. $1.5M for a back up QB is insane, even considering he started at MSU. I think his transfer hurts State more than it helps LSU.

Didn’t Tennessee pay $10M for Nico over 4 years?

OU gets a proven top tier starter.

Given those deals if I’m trying to win next year I go with Mateer.

Obviously Underwood has the highest ceiling but that’s a one off deal that I don’t think should be considered as something to compete with or use as a baseline.

He's the presumed heir apparent to Nuss who has 1 year left, which we do not have on our roster and just missed out on with Underwood. Not sure what you mean by "what is in their QB room".

Think of him as a high level high school recruit but somewhat proven at an SEC level.

will be curious to see if this backfires and creates locker room issues if he fails to live up to his hype...

Michigan can win the Big 10 and a ship without passing more than 12 times a game, so long as they have the signals.

I thought yall signed another QB after Underwood flipped or already got another in the portal.

We did not.

We currently have AJ Swann who isn't a D1 quarterback and Colin Hurley who is currently going through puberty and has accuracy issues.

I’m waiting to see what Kelly does to address the DT and Safety spots.

We have talent at DT on roster, but we definitely need a safety or Jackson from UF to convert to safety. I wouldn't hate another DT, but not an extreme need.

AU will claim Arnold is a 5 star and is going to be the next "Oregon" version of Bo Nix.

let's see, I wanted him to come to our school out of HS, but he hasn't panned out at OU. I kept close watch because he played at my High School. I hope he has success at Auburn.
