1. Michigan’s $10M for Underwood (4 years left)
2. Oklahoma $3M for the Mateer (2 year left)
3. LSU $1.5M for Van Buren (3 years left)
4. Auburn $1M for Jackson Arnold (2 years left)
Auburn, please provide rumored payment so I can update. So far, LSU got the best deal.

All of them, NIL amounts are usually drastically inflated.

I wonder how these conversations are even had.
I feel bad for WSU. They offered Mateer $1M and couldn’t match OU’s $3M.

Cougfan.com, which covers WSU athletics, reported Monday that an “unnamed SEC school” has offered Mateer an NIL deal worth roughly $3 million. Cougfan added that is “three times higher than the package WSU is believed to have presented Mateer.”

depends on what your basing it on production on the field or potential
AU will claim Arnold is a 5 star and is going to be the next "Oregon" version of Bo Nix.
LSU will feel like they got a solid QB with SEC playing time that put up really solid numbers on a really bad team.
Based on last season...objective fans will say they both got the same guy.
I really like what OU did the OC and QB package...they saw what Vandy did and followed that plan. So they prob overpaid, but the results that matter which are Wins will be improved big time I think.

It is pretty clear that everyone involved wishes they could go back to the days of $180k getting you a Cam Newton.

If this doesn't tell you that HS Football is about to get way more serious than ever. Before they were trying to get some under the table cash and a scholarship. Now they are getting generational wealth.
