This came across my news feed this morning. Insinuating that UTw and OU coming soon. Sounds like they are coming to agreement with Big12.

Have I been under a rock or something and missed this?

Once 2 people agree to part ways, do it as soon as possible. Nothing good comes from dragging out the process. Same principal applies here.

Agree but a lot of money involved and TV contracts through the 2024 season I believe

what's your point. That is the original announcement from a yr and a half ago... Rumors earlier this year had them coming earlier than 2025 but money issues appeared to squash that. The article I linked says something happened at the Big12 meeting in Vegas this week.

The article you linked is just more clickbait spawned by desperate media turds looking to stir up controversy to get clicks. How have you lived all your life and not figured that out yet?

Until the SEC officially says something, nothing else is relevant because they've already spoken on the matter and announced a start date.

Do you really think they're going to bring in OU/TX early and realign an entire conference as well as their '23 schedules across all sports in one off-season?

No one is predicting OU UT to join SEC for the 2023 season. The prediction is for the 2024 season, only one year earlier.

Yes, 24 season. I’m seeing some extra chatter about it. I know it has to be done 18 months prior to move so if 24 season we’ll know by Jan/Feb?

Of note B12 has not piblished their 23 schedule and its was promised in Nov then early Dec now late again. Somethikg seems up

Agree. Especially with Texas. They are such a powerful, dynamic team they could easily control the Big-12.

Total Big 12 championships all-time

Texas: 205
Second most (OU): 93

I guess you're right. We are too dynamic and control the Big 12. Guess it's time for us to leave and challenge ourselves
