they literally had to separate us in Dallas like middle-schoolers because the fans would not stop fighting
The fighting is better now, but I still want us separated on Oct 12 so Oklahoma fans won't get monkeypox.

You are 100% correct it is only part of the reason Texans have a inferiority complex and cover it with braggadocio The biggest reason Texans have an inferiority complex and cover it with braggadocio is because they almost universally are the spawn of people who could not make it where they were originally from and drifted toward Texas like so many unrooted Russian Thistles (tumbleweed for the less educated) and, unable to take root and do any better anywhere else wound up in Texas as the last possible place on the planet they hadn't already failed in. Thats goes for almost everyone in Texas except Hispanic folks who have tolerated the invasion for a couple of hundred years. As has happened with the downtrodden and unwashed masses throughout the history of man if they ever stumble back assward into progress, through no effort of their own because they have proven incapable of making it on their own merit, will arrive at the conclusion that they did it on their own. This happened when oil was discovered in Texas. Through absolutely no effort other than failing miserably to scratch out a living elsewhere Texans became residents of a state with an ungodly fortune of natural resource that no one knew, especially Texans, was anything other than a nuisance. Deep in their DNA they know what they are, they put up a front as people who know they are inadequate are wont to do, to mask their insecurity. They are akin to a gang member killing someone because they stepped on their shoe....all they have in the world is their inflated self image, baseless as it is.
As much as I enjoy a good psuedo intellectual take down of Texas and Texans as the next guy.
I have to point out that this same theoretical take could be advanced regarding anybody who ever moved anywhere.
The idea that everybody moved because they are "desperate" is countered by the fact that a lot of people moved because of "opportunity"... and left the many others who wallowed in squalor back home where they continued to wallow in squalor.

Stop with this weird fantasy. We are not you the love child of you two lover. In every conceivable fantasy you guys throw out there, you guys keep with this it’s Sooner and horn together vs Aggie. What is it with this obsession?? God damn it’s creepy. We aren’t you pals or OU’s pals. We aren’t three peas in a pod bc you don’t know anyone else.

Two of the mentioned universities are known for all kinds of homoerotic buttfrickery type shenanigans, dildo waving and gay milkmen..steers and queers and all that.

Utrans fans created most of the original Oklahoma accounts because they were afraid of being picked on
That’s just how they are,
But that should explain to you why there were so many lovefest between them in the last three or four years
A lot of new Oklahoma fans who are actually Oklahoma fans are here now, they won’t be so kind to the transsexuals in Austin

You must be a Texags regular. Y'all are so unbelievably paranoid about sock accounts.
75% of threads there accuse fellow Aggies of being sip troll sock accounts.

Miss the old days of Commerce Street. That was a scene.
This is why that was ended.

I don't really care if OU and Texas don't hate each other as much as the Mississippi schools or whatever, the RRS is on another level as a sporting event than basically any SEC rivalry. Y'all can keep stabbing and punching each other over college football like a bunch of white trash, I'll keep enjoying the best American sporting atmosphere in Dallas every year.
I think this is probably the most spot on answer in this argument. The RRS isn’t really about what’s going on on the field it’s more about the setting and atmosphere. Like this sooner says it’s basically an event. It’s a unique atmosphere. I went in 2021 for the first time and had a good time. Didn’t really see any hatred on either side

You’ve been posting here for what? Two days.
Everyone else here has been laughing at the UTrans fans Pretending to be fans of other schools out of fear of being picked on for the last three or four years

Believe me, we hate each other. Have for years. What you don't get is that we're brand new to a new conference, and we're entering in the same year as sort of a "package" deal. We'd look a little goofy taking swings at each other during SEC Media Days and on here. We are both trying to acclimate just a bit before the gloves come off. Everything is brand new this year for both schools and fanbases.
For a little while, we are behaving ourselves. It'll get nasty soon enough.

Finally someone with some sense. I really did not think it would take that long and then its an OU fan pointing out the obvious and not a UT fan....
