I noticed I get down votes on SC, ACC, and Utx threads. Makes me think some are not alters but real mouth breathing fans. Easier to detect when I have the down vote on any post and they have the lone up vote on all of their posts.

I go to TexAgs occasionally and the content (new posts) has slowed tremendously.

They’ve run off a lot of really good posters.

I can visits once a week and not miss a thing.

Almost all school boards are the same, if you don't regurgitate what the top 5 most popular posters are thinking, you will get crowdsourced banned.

So I frequent both boards. Been having a hard time listening to the co-owner of TexAgs, Billy Liucci, due to his Homerism. Basically, he is not willing to be critical and objective when it comes to anything Jimbo Fisher.

Had a few posters over the last few months get banned on TexAgs for being negative and calling out TexAg staff for not asking the hard questions. But their response is to ban folks. Freedom of Speech and opinions that are negative against the program are not tolerated by Liucci.

SEC Rant can be brutal but extertainining as hell. But at least they allow for a free flow of thoughts.

So far warning to any Ags....Liucci is turning it into his own dictatorship. He clearly likes everything that Jimbo does!! Guy is clueless in life.

It's probably been two years or so now, but I posted something totally elementary and non combative, and got banned almost immediately.

TexAgs is full of pus*ies.

I guess you have to know your forum. Tidefans is all the time sunshine pumping and will ban you for a contrary opinion. I know not to go over there unless I just want to sunshine pump all day which I don't.

Their football is practically dead. Not much to read. Even less to comment on.

Really depends on platform or publisher. TD is not a bastion of free speech either.

Yes but those are carried over from shaggybevo. Surlyhorns is far worse than texags as a site. Owner is a fat liberal who hates freedom.

That goes to the very heart of what "freedom of speech" means.

Good or bad, the owners of that site are obviously expressing their opinions by controlling dialog on a site they own and manage. And, quite possibly, they're also running a business and are doing what they feel necessary to keep the paying customers happy.

If users don't like how they're treated on a privately-owned message board, they're free to vote with their feet, er, fingers and leave. That will do more to express their dissatisfaction (and penalize the ad revenue of the site owner) than bitching about pseudo-equivalent yet non-existent "rights" being violated.

My platform, my business, my perspective, my rules. That's not the same as the gummint coming in and telling you what you can and can't do/say/allow on your website.

So, if TexAgs sucks go find somewhere else more accomodating of your perspective (whatever it may be). But, whatever their view is, if they kick you off it's not called censorship. It's called freedom, and possibly capitalism.

I think the board could care less about TX in general and it will get worse when Utx folks start migrating here in volume.
You're right, they could care less. I mean... just look at you. You are literally in every single thread about either Texas or Texas a&m.

It would be nice if we had a Quarantine Board for TAMU and Utx to bicker amongst themselves
We know you'd be there participating in every single thread, gramps.

Do you let people come into your house and call you a punk and not retaliate?

This is exactly the same thing except the "house" is a virtual space.

This is far far from the exact same thing.

This is more like a restaurant owner who has microphones at every table to monitor the conversations, and then proceeds to kick out every person who says something he doesn’t like.

Not true, I generally stay out of the ones where you two keep making the moves on each other.

Only because Stanford went in the crapper with c19 issues

Congrats on the post c19 wins but where were you for 30 - 40 years that Stanford owned this?

Also, not as hard in the tiny 12, see if you are winning anything here in 2025. Win national hardware here and you are a man, win in another conference and who gives a crap

Literally right behind them and consistently in the top 5. Sorry we only have 19 sports and not 30 like Stanford?

You... you do realize that 10 schools finishing in the top 2 in the country has nothing to do with conference, right?

Like, literally every single conference is involved at that point when deciding the national champion and second place

Take another nap, gramps.

Not even remotely the same thing. The "restaurant owner" is selling food, not a place to discuss topics of interest. But even if he DID have mics on every table, it's still his business.

Don't like it? Don't patronize the establishment. It's his to run or mis-manage, as he sees fit. What you DON'T have a right to do is go into his establishment and tell him to take the mics off the tables.

Well, you can, but then he'd be well within his rights to kick you out on your arse and forbid you to ever come back in.

It's called capitalism. If his paying customers are okay with how he runs his business, tough nuts for those that don't like it - they can get their food down the street.

Chicken >>>> Billy Luicci.

I have never been able to stomch Luicci--and I am talking from the POV of a CFB fan generally, not as a tiger fan in this instance.
