Yep - and none of it matters now.

Duke looks the best right now.
Auburn and Bama can get hot and run.
Florida has highest ceiling if they get hot.

Strangely, they won the UConn game without their best effort.
When they are locked in, the Mighty Gators have all the answers.

You mean if Florida gets their head out of their asses and plays like they can.

Bull shite. It matters in that it shows where the 16 teams stack up. My takeaways:
Ole Miss was always underrated. Their resume shows they are in no way a Cinderella who lucked up and pulled an upset. They are 6-5 against the rest of the Sweet 16 which is remarkably strong, especially when you consider they played the #1 overall seed three times. Don’t be surprised to see Ole Miss go deeper into the Tournament.
Second takeaway is that Arkansas was also underrated. The wins over Michigan and Kentucky were undervalued. They are arguably the weakest team left in the field, but when folks were talking about them being on the bubble 2 weeks ago, they were undervaluing the Hogs.
Final takeaway is BYU is the weakest team left in the field. 1-5 against the Sweet 16 teams with 4 additional losses to teams outside the Sweet 16. I think Bama rolls.

No it doesn't. BYU is playing as well as anybody in the country the last month. What they did in November matters almost zilch to a game on Thursday. Their wins and metrics are top 5 or 10 since february started.

It matters some. It gives you experience against the best teams and the ones you are likely to play. Duke is the least experienced but possibly the best team. You just dont know. How well would they have done in the SEC? We're about to find out if they make it past Arizona.

We're playing with house money at this point. Obviously would rather have a better record and higher seed, but being able to go deep in March in years like this is huge.

I still can't figure Duke out. Are they truly dominant or just the best team from a shite league? Most popular pick to win it all and they haven't broken a sweat in the first 2 rounds while completely dominating.

Looking at how teams have performed against other top teams is absolutely telling. It doesn’t mean it always goes the way you think it will, but it does typically work out more often than not.
North Carolina was also looking hot at the end of the season, but their inability to get Quad 1 wins proved to be a worthy metric in the Tournament: they couldn’t get a Quad 1 win and promptly went home when they played a Quad 1 opponent.
Resumes are absolutely telling when it comes to future likely results… certainly more often than not.

Might be the game they needed. First game I can remember this year they didn't look like they were enjoying it. Could tell they were feeling the pressure.

Not sure that is accurate considering Arkansas is legit healthy again. Getting Thiero back this week would mean Arkansas is 100% healthy for the first time this season. Can also be said that Arkansas had the two most impressive, combined wins this past weekend.

They looked really good when I watched them against Baylor and beat Auburn in the regular reason. Conference was a cakewalk for them but I think they're just that good. Blasted Illinois 110-67 as well.

What's his outlook?
I understood he had a shot to play before practicing on Friday, so I sort of expected to see him at some point over the weekend (we obviously didn't).

According to everything out there during the weekend, if Arkansas made it to next weekend he would be available. Even just at 10-15 min of playing time, that is a world of difference. Arkansas had a 7 man rotation to end the year, then an 8 man rotation last weekend. A 9 man rotation just for foul purposes is a world of difference.

The question with them will be how they respond when they are back in a dogfight, as they've had some issues down the stretch of those types of games so far this year.
But they're clearly a great team. They have uber talented players, run good schemes, play hard, are long as hell everywhere on the floor. I don't care if they played in the SWAC or MAAC, they're elite.

I gotta feeling Duke is gonna crush Arizona, unfortunately.

That's awesome man, I hope he makes it back.
Still can't believe Boogie was able to get out there.
