It's hard to tell. They really don't allow much criticism of coaches on the Gator board I go to. But the general consensus is that he just got stymied in the portal when it comes pitching this off-season. We got the one guy out of Clemson who can be really good and then not so good. But we have had a ton of injuries too. Our pitching staff is young and still learning as well. I think we are going to be a tough out if we can make the postseason. Our hitting has been good, but not so much with RISP. So you hope to see that average out as the season goes along. Sully is getting older, but I think he still has some tread left on the tires.
Some of these guys that are scuffling have played really well in the past, so the hope is to see them round into form at some point.

Yea, Kentucky is a solid team. People on surly were hating far too much on them. If they win this series, it will make our road trip series win better on paper.

If they can win today and get to 8-10, I think they’ve got a chance to get to 15-15 and be dangerous in a regional. They’re a scrappy bunch, and they went to Omaha last year.
