I think the selling point for Florida would be Mullen's prior experience at Florida and wanting to achieve those heights again

No doubt. The selling point for UF is a chance at National Titles.

I think Gator fans may be overestimating Mullens ability to recruit to Gainesville. UF is going to draw a certain number of quality players on its own, but how will the Gator faithful react to Mullens less than stellar closing record on star recruits? Jimbo would charm and sign circles around Dan. Richt would too.

Not trolling. Are State fans nervous that Mullen is about to be pulled away from Starkville? What happens then?

Nope, he isn't going anywhere.

I think other programs like Nebraska for instance come calling.

Nebraska... really? Mullen isn't an idiot.

You gotta think Florida hired Stricklin in part because they want Merlins.

The should have hired Cohen then.... but congrats on showing your knowledge of the situation.

Nebraska made a mistake by joining the B1G 10 when they were already down and out.

did find this amusing quote from last year:
Mullen on Stricklin: "We've won more games than Florida has the last six years … No wonder they want him and people are coming after him.

That is Mullen taking a shot at Florida... he isn't very found of them either. Also, there is a great audio out there of what Mrs. Mullen thinks of Gainsville.

They always say he is not leaving but he seems to be rumored for other job every off season and even rumored to interview for other jobs . He will be gone once he is offered a job at a bigger school.

You're right, he has interviewed for all these other jobs (per you) but hasn't been offered. All while taking Mississippi State to #1 in the rankings for 6 weeks. Come on mane, listen to the shite you are spewing.

Because we've been right, like 8 or 9 times now.

Mainly because the media pushes this when the chance comes up.
