I always liked Shane Beamer. I remember when he was an assistant coach at MSU, Croom said "Shane is destined to become a head coach." He thought a lot of him.

You know a lot more about that than I do but Croom was the same way with our OC, Woody McCorvey. Our offense stunk and he refused replace him.
