So, how is everyone feeling after the brackets were announced?

Gonna be some very challenging first round games for several of us in the SEC.

After beating each other up for 2 months, I'm concerned how SEC teams are going to reach playing other teams. I think it could be a problem for some of us.

Arkansas/Kansas should be a fun game. Louisville/Creighton with Auburn next. Oklahoma/Uconn. Missouri/Drake. Miss St./Baylor. Gonzaga/Georgia. All look like good games.

UK has had great wins, and bad losses. Troy is supposed to be a good shooting team. That's been a problem for us. I think for our season to be considered successful overall.

Anyone else take time to reflect?

Everybody seems to think Drake will beat us, so I'm feeling pretty good about our draw.

Alabama doesn't have any teams until the Elite 8 that are flashing red light terrible matchups (long defensive teams who can gum up our guards), which is a plus.

However, possible opponents starting the 2R forward that we could absolutely lose too if we don't play well (Saint Mary's, Wisconsin, BYU). So all in all a typical tournament. Looking forward to it.

I like our bracket. Assume we get past the first weekend we'll likely get Tenn who we apparently match up well against. Not sure how good Houston is, but I'm assuming they're def the worst 1 seed.

That being said, I'm not too confident we're getting outta the first weekend.

That'd mean we made it to the elite 8. Highly unlikely with this team, unfortunately.

I’m ok with it. Wouldn’t be shocked if we lost in the first round or made the Sweet 16 or Elite 8.

Louisville fans are big mad, even though they only had 1 quality win this year

Auburn has as easy a road as you can reasonably expect.

We beat UK in Rupp this year, so we can surely beat Louisville.

A&M isn't pretty to see.

Itll all be fun to watch

Well, I given up on us playing any type of defense....so about like last year. Final 4!

We beat the frick out of them in Louisville and then I think they lost to LSU. They’re not that good.

We are winning it all.

My bracket says so and I can't be wrong.

They literally didn’t have a win against the SEC this year and they played four different teams. And that’s assuming they make it past Creighton. I don’t think they have the personnel to handle Broome.

They’ll bring the fans but that ticket is going to be stupid hot with Tennessee and Auburn there too.

Not sure what it says about the ACC or Duke slurping, but to finish 2nd in their conference and get an 8 seed while the conference champ got a 1 seed has got to sting.

The Cards have zero post play.

Yeah, but playing a team a 3rd time doesn't sit well with me. Of course, like you said, we have to get there, and so do they.

Blake Toppmeyer of USA Today just wrote that Bennett Stirtz is the best players in our game with Drake! LMAO. I'm sure Grill, Mitchell, and Bates will take exception to that Blake as they smoke Drake! Ha ha. M-I-Z!

I like UGA's bracket, but mostly because I do not know much about Houston. I am sure they are a nightmare and if we get past Gonzaga we will have our hands full. But, it seems like Sampson has issues when they get to the big stage.

They always try to find a player they think will "hit" during the tournament. If we don't shore up the defense, he may well indeed, but the Drake defense is being made out to be CBB's version of the Steel Curtain. If we force double-digit turnovers we will win going away.

State got pretty much exactly what I expected. Baylor is a total toss up. And if we win, Duke will throttle us. But I’d love to get the NCAAT losing streak off the books. State’s last tourney win was in 2008 against Oregon (also an 8/9 game).

OU is a fairly typical 9 seed. UConn if anything is a below average 8 seed if you judge by their actual resume. However, teams that underperform relative to preseason expectations are supposed to be the most likely teams to overperform their seed in the tournament.
