If SMU goes 11-1 they are going to the cfp and will beat Texas

SMU is the best team in the ACC, for sure.
Texas and A&M would both take them to the woodshed.

Don't you have a commuter college video games class or something.

Does the Acc not have their own board?

They've taken over Saturday Down South, so they're trying to do the same to SECRant.

Just over 60 post and registered on 10/13/2024. So being an SMU fan you feel compelled to get on this board to puff your chest. Acc is damn near a group of 5 conference overall.

SMU lost to BYU.
Their biggest win is Duke.
Their biggest win is Duke.

To be fair, losing to BYU by 3 is not a horrible loss this year.

I don't buy BYU this year.
Let's be honest, if a team was undefeated over SMU, S Illiniois, Wyoming, KSU, Baylor, Arizona, UCF and Oklahoma State in the past, nobody would think they were all that great. It looks like a G5 schedule from 5 years ago.
Just because teams like SMU or UCF join a P5 conference doesn't immediately change them into a quality opponent. The reality is the Big 12 is at best a "G5-plus" conference right now after losing Texas and OU.
LSU, A&M, Ole Miss, Mizzou... all are better than BYU. BYU just has zero tests on their schedule. Hell, I might take Vandy, Arkansas and SC over BYU too.

BYU is better loss then Notre Dame

The ACC does not play defense. I have no idea what to think about SMU.

I don't disagree with that. I think ND is bad and A&M is very overrated.
But I think Michigan is better than BYU and I don't think Michigan is that good. Texas beat Michigan on the road, they didn't lose to them like SMU did to BYU.
The big 12 is absolute garbage this year. It's not a P5 quality conference in any way other than in name.
The ACC has a couple of quality teams. SMU isn't one of them though, they just have played nobody.
1 point win over Duke? 5 point win over Nevada? Their "most impressive" win is a 7 pointer over Louisville... who's best win is GT.
The reality is that I think UK will still beat Louisville this year. The only teams I'd take to even beat a team like South Carolina or Arkansas from the SEC would be Miami and Clemson. Everyone else in the ACC is just as garbage as the Big 12.

They did beat Duke by an entire point....very impressive.

KSU is a solid win most years.
I do think all Big 12 teams will crumble down the stretch.

Notre Dame is not "bad." They are not elite, but they aren't bad.
