I guess if you like boring, Iowa is the place to be.

Statistically low crime places with good healthcare, middle class jobs, education, etc tend to also, by nature, be boring. Im sure NYC has excitement, but I don’t want to raise children there.

Plenty of them in Northern Arkansas.

They have a place in Gentry, Arkansas.

WTF? No. Damn, why do my fellow SeC folks keep pushing this? Neither UNC nor UVA would add anything worth having to this conference.

Fertile recruiting, geographically completing the SEC as a fully southern conference, and 20 million people in a growing and prosperous region. For the record I think UVA for sure goes Big Ten with UNC likely to follow. But I think we should fight hard for UNC with NC St as a backup, while also considering VT. Conceding the entire Atlantic coast north of GA to the B10 would be a huge mistake.

Im a little surprised to see South Carolina ranked this low given how much the state has grown and improved over the last decade. But as well as Charleston, Greenville, and to some extent Columbia has improved, there are still large areas of extreme poverty and neglect in between Columbia and Charleston. Similar to southwest Alabama.

If Ohio is better than South Carolina, why did half their state move to Carolina?

Florida, Georgia and Tennessee have thrown off the trailer park stigma and have become cultural destinations. How sweet it is.

It’s amazing with all its natural advantages and beauty that California is 37. Just further proof that liberal leadership can ruin anything.
