Since everyone is up in arms about Tennessee baseball field dimensions, I thought I would post a few other parks in the SEC for comparison. Lindsey Nelson Stadium is not that much smaller than the rest of the stadiums. In fact, they have similar dimension to a lot of fields.
But if Tennessee is so small, why are they leading the country in doubles? Why isn’t the other team hitting homeruns either? Are the bases and pitcher mound shorter in LNS? Truth is, 5ft don’t make that much of difference when Tennessee is hitting home runs that are 380-400+ ft. But I’m sure we will hear more excuses tomorrow why Tennessee hits home runs.
Fun fact: LSU has lost the last 6 consecutive in Knoxville and they have won a game since 2016 in Knoxville. Does LSU get a win this weekend? Or does the streak continue?

If Whiskey is from Martin, it would be nice to meet him. I’m always up to meeting new Vols fans. But let’s don’t get off topic here. Let’s talk about why everyone has an issue with LNS dimension when they are similar to the “elite” baseball schools in parts of their stadium, the way yall talk, I would think LNS is 300ft from pole to pole. But that’s not the case, now is it?

What are the fence heights? That makes all the difference in the world. Ask Boston with the Green Monster due to a road cutting off distance. Also check Autozone Park in Memphis for a National Security Easement cutting off right field. Same with the University of Arizona. They simply raise the fence to make up for the distance. Not bright are you?

10 to 15 feet at the foul pole and center field is that much smaller?

Imagine how many times you've seen an outfielder come within just a foot or two from a fly ball.

Ask your manager when you get to work. They'll tell you.

Little league stadium with turf instead of real grass and dirt and lights that don’t work is pathetic and should be razed immediately.
