After reading through this thread, Missouri is easily the most underrated team by most SEC fans.

It's really hard to place them not knowing how they'll adjust to the SEC. I know Franklin is a badass, and I'm glad we don't have to see him this year.

That's fair, but A&M at 8?

I honestly believe our ceiling is as high as 5th and our worst case would be 8th. I've seen a lot of people putting us at 10th or below and I think they will be surprised.

I have you his in the 6-10 range with Auburn, MSU, Florida and Tennessee, I'm guessing 7-8. A&M will struggle this year but will get a lot better with their QB improvement, however I have no idea why people are consistently putting them ahead of Mizzou.

It was a shot in the dark, just like everyone else...

Mizzou has a chance to surprise a down East. A&M has the task of taking on the rising West, yet neither task will be easy. I just see A&M as a more complete team, partly because I haven't seen or heard enough of Mizzou.

Good luck on the season.

MU could be under-rated

One issue is this site is disproportionately frequented by SEC West fans. As a rule we don't think the East is as good as the West and we don't think MU is going to win the East... that ends up under-valuing MU overall perhaps

That's a fair assessment. My personal opinion is that we finish 7th but like I said, I could see 5th if everything goes right. I don't think A&M is a bad team, but with a new coach, QB, and playing in the West, I don't see any scenario where they finish above us overall.

Also, people saying we only finish above UK and Ole Miss can frick off because there is practically no chance we finish as low as 12th. Just not gonna happen

where you finish =/= how good you are. See usce and uga

And Ill be shocked if mizzou proves to be better than tenn or uf. I think they've been consistently overrated in this thread

I really wish LSU played mizzou this year

lol, finally. Hey, I like you guys - competition is a good thing. Mike the Tiger is best mascot in college - and may I say - not even close? Good luck, can't wait for tee time.

Agreed. Mizzou is losing to Bama, UF, UT, UGA, USCe, and maybe Vandy.

Good thing you don't decide the games.
