Putting all of your starting 5 in top 21 is strong. Wind must’ve been light for the scores that were shot today. Love that course but it can be brutal when the wind is kicking.

First thing that caught my attention was the under 70 rounds from all 5 AU guys.

I'm -9 at the turn usually.

Then the Miller Lites begin to hit.

4th after day 1. On a course we’ve never played but SEC schools have. I’ll take it.

Texas has a strong golf tradition, the Longhorns have won national titles back-to-back in 1971 and 1972, again in 2012 and the most recent in 2022, and finished runner-up six other times (1949, 1983, 1989, 1994, 2016, 2019). Texas also has 48 conference championships.

Yes you do. Just won the natty in '22.

These teams have come out smoking today and are atop the leaderboard:

1. Auburn -7 (-23 total)
2. LSU -8 (-19 total)
3. Oklahoma -9 (-16 total)

All 3 teams are right around the turn.
