OU plays @ Bama this weekend. Should be a great matchup

The bottom of the SEC must be really bad if South Carolina is only 5th worst.

Mid. Week. Games. Matter!!!!

Georgia is averaging double digits scored on all 3 nights.. that seems pretty good.
Arkansas is almost there as well.
Who you play obviously matters a lot, so these stats will get better as we get more data each week.

Against Vandy and Florida too, both who had decent pitching coming into SEC play. Our question still seems to be around some form of starting pitching. Bats and bullpen have been pretty much on fire though.
Still a long way to go,in an absolute brutal conference. Stay healthy and win home series is all you can hope for this year

I'm trying to figure out how Kentucky beat you guys.. bad night? Nothing against Kentucky as I think they are better than their record, but you guys just seem to be playing on a whole different level right now, and you were at home.
There is a very defined Top 3 for me right now. I think LSU will be in that group once they figure out their pitching rotations. We are close, but not quite there yet imo.
1. Tennessee
2. Georgia/Arkansas
3. Georgia/Arkansas
4. Texas
5. LSU
The champs get to stay at 1 until someone knocks them off.

We have some work to do with starting pitchers and relievers too. I believe Jay will get it figured out.

EDIT: This was a parody account. I got had!
How much does HC matter in baseball? OU plays them this weekend. I hate suspensions for normal arguing with umps. Weak to suspend him.

SEC believes that they're losing control with field stormings and coach ejections.

If RPI was considered at present LSU would take a precipitous drop. Texas would take a bit of a hit.

The rankings don't change much for anyone but LSU. I could care less if we have an average rating for 5.6 or 7.0.. it's just a general guide to show teams where they are currently ranked between polls. I just don't think the RPI is good yet, but it's getting close. Examples below.

My issue with the RPI isn't LSU or Texas dropping, but rather teams ranked higher than they should be.
Xaver is 11-13 and #5. Get outta here..
ELO is 78.
Minnesota at 11-11 and #23? Get outta here..
their ELO is 68.
UTRGV is #15. ELO is #51.
Their getting closer though.. but as you see in the chart above, it doesn't make that big of difference. Well it does for LSU, but there is a lot of season still to be played and it will work itself out.

I have this terrible feeling we are going to be Mizzou's first SEC win

100% agree. I posted the same in one of the other baseball threads today.
It's going to be cold and rainy on Saturday and Sunday and they will want a piece of flesh. It won't be the end of the world, but it'll suck.
