Schools that could potentially join UF...

in the "3 and 3 Club" (At least three National Championships in the two major revenue sports)
Michigan and Ohio State both have football squared away and a Natty in basketball a piece, but I have a somewhat hard time believing either will be winning multiple b-ball natty's in the near future, although Dusty May is a hell of coach.
My only pick is actually Texas. Even though they haven't won one yet, they've come close. And they have the financial muscle and infrastructure to build it there. The right coach, the ACTUAL right coach, could win 3 basketball National Championships at Texas in relatively short order.

we have too many fans like me who don't give a shite about bball so the fan support will always be an issue.

Austin and UT would absolutely support basketball. Did you see the crowds and energy when Texas was ranked in the top 5 and beating Gonzaga with Beard? The plug got pulled and apathy set in last year.

LSU is made three final fours, with NIL these days and the SEC brand growing in basketball, who’s to say maybe it can’t be LSU one day? I know that is probably very doubtful, but I’m hopeful to at least make another final four at some point. Won’t get there with our current coach though.
