Just terrible. If you meet him, you would never walk away with that impression. He is the ultimate salesman.

"Private matter" lol. The reporter wasn't asking about his marriage or cancer treatment, doofus.

The next day?
He and is staff had ALREADY accepted the job before the press conference. Hell, they had already accepted it well before A&M even played in the championship series. You don’t make those decisions in the course of a few hours. There are too many moving parts.
Then to call the reporter “selfish” for asking you about a job YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCEPTED is ridiculous

I really don’t understand the uproar. Everything Schloss told the media in his postgame presser about this topic, which I quoted above, was truthful.
Look at it from the players’ perspectives. They just lost the natty by 1 run. They’re probably thinking about making a run again next season, and the coach quits on them. What about all the fans who supported him?

I mean its a little different than Bob the accountant quitting to take another job
An accountant who is in conclusion with the biggest competitor for months, and during the busiest audit season on company record, secretly begins working on behalf of the competitor using company resources. Then suddenly flees in the middle of the night with the company’s files, computers, all communication information, all financial information, all personnel information, and 50% of the employees, including the entire management team.
When questioned, then turns around and calls the questioner selfish, and then goes on an angry tirade about loyalty.
This particular “accountant” picked and chose which players were good enough for him to let in on his little secret … NIL deals were brokered and promises were made, again, while on the payroll of another “company.” The rest of the team, while focusing on the biggest game of their lives, was shut out and lied to when they questioned him (they weren’t stupid and knew something was up). There are many receipts and screenshots from players and parents corroborating this. Great leadership from the head coach there. Teamwork, it wasn’t.
He lied to players. He lied to their families. He lied to his colleagues. He lied to the fans. He lied to the media. He lied to the public.
He’s a morally-corrupt narcissistic jackass.

It's not a private matter at all.

They don't "have to" ask the question because they're "just doing their job".
Fans on this site always calling out the beat reporters for not asking the tough questions. I can't keep up. Are reporters supposed to ask the tough questions or not?

However, everything about his response to that question was indeed wrong. The answer itself; the holier than thou attitude.

Should he have just intentionally lost the super? Intentionally go 2&Q in Omaha? He was the reason you all played in the last game of the season. If he can do that while "colluding" with Texas then we just got the best coach in the country!

If he took property from TAMU then sue to get it back. Coaches and players can decide to follow him or stay. This is America.

Maybe. But he didn't suddenly turn into one Tuesday evening. He's been one for a long time. And you all did not care, because he won baseball games. Maybe it crashes and burns in a similar way in Austin. Until then, I don't give a shite if he's an a-hole. Win games.

I can see why LSU fans are all over this. Saban STILL hurts them.
And what a tangled web this board and fandom weaves: LSU fans sticking up for A&M fans
Crazy stuff lies ahead..
Never change lsu fans, never change.

So when did he “leave” his family?
He became a swinger, and started finding boosters wives at TCU he wanted to frick, so he’d offer to swap his wife, and she kept getting pissed because he was fricking hot trophy wives and she was stuck with ugly goobers.
I don’t know the full details, but supposedly there was a specific incident that had him leave TCU stat.

There's a whole lot of butthurt to see.
Coach screwed up this question and threw a reporter under the bus.
To me it's not a whole lot different than a coach screwing up a question and throwing players or assistant coaches under the bus.
Scummy, yeah, but not particularly unheard of. The fact that he didn't have a better canned answer is kind of bizarre.

Can't blame Schloss for chasing the hot trophy wife at Texas while leaving goobers behind in College Station

Neither school has room to talk. One has full blown male cadets humping each other and yelling, while the other protests with dildos and is proud to "Keep It Weird".

He’d been keeping his secret for months and had gotten used to getting away with it. Once he was directly confronted about it, it pissed him off. That was part of the game … how dare you question me!

This was in Fort Worth. Learn to read. But him and CDC definitely are tag teaming ladies together on Lake Travis. And no hate. Supposedly Peyton Manning is a huge swinger and has fricked half the trophy wives in Indianapolis. To each their own. Just giving context.

Something fairly interesting was posted earlier. Apparently, when Travis Chestnut bunted for a hit, then reached base on an error Monday, the call to do that was not made by Schlossnagle, nor by the hitting coach. RYAN TARGAC, convinced Chestnut to change his approach as he was coming up to the plate.
