The scene before the game with the whole stadium singing their fight song (not sure if that is what you call it) and everyone swaying back and forth was pretty cool.

Yeah, it is.
You'll enjoy a lot of SEC atmospheres as time goes on. There are some good ones in this league .... like none other.

I've seen them "Saw Varsity's Horn's Off" before.. (the sway part) but man that crowd was juiced.. and I looked at my son and said..
"this.. this right here.. is why I love College Football.. "
The Power entrance.. fans going apeshit.. the War Hymn.. the passion of college football is simply second to none in my book.
I'm glad the game is back.
One little change to the entrance Aggies.. you need to milk that Power entrance a little longer.. let the players sit there and bounce for another time or two through the song.. that shite is fire..

Well that was a good honest statement. No Ref melt, no Austin stuff, no we did it to ourselves (well kinda..) Just an honest comment that yes, Texas dang sure offered A&M a few chances to win an otherwise dominant affair.
But Texas defense is inarguably top shelf, let's not overlook that.

Never seen the Aggie War Hymn being sung? That's not a seasoned Texas fan for sure. But that's fine, just odd that he was astonished by something we've known for decades.

As I said in the Texas board (before someone deleted it after 5 seconds), Texas was the better team who outplayed us in pretty much every aspect minus special teams. Based on the X comments, the refs were fair. I was impressed by Texas' ability to be largely unfazed by the Twelfth Man. No excuses from this Aggie, just a tip of the cap to a team that beat us fair and square.
And yes, that defense is insane.

This Texas team has never played A&M, but it seemed like they had been playing them for years. What I mean is, Texas just took the field and went to work as if they were totally familiar with Kyle field and been there, done that - which wasn't the case for this group.

I'm 51 and have been a Longhorn fan since I was probably 7 years old. Just because I'm not blind and can recognize a really cool pregame atmosphere doesn't make me an alt. It proves I am rational and have the ability to process what I am seeing with my own eyes and not only through burnt orange glasses.
