Chip Towers with the AJC reporting 127 decibels but unsure where it was measured and when.

I’m sure you could measure 150 if you measured inside a trumpet horn at the game.

This sounds like something at Ut fan would brag about.

Edit: and LSU fans apparently.

I mean Death valley wasn't even close to being that loud and you're kidding yourself if you think Samford was as loud as Tiger stadium last night. Pretty sure 138 decibels would shatter the record. So, not likely

My Georgia fan friend’s Apple Watch measured at over 250 yesterday.

I’m not sure you appreciate how loud 138 dB actually is

That’s as loud as a gunshot going off at point blank distance, without any noise reducing effects.

You were not that loud, I’m sorry to disappoint you

Common sense would indicate that they were. There’s no Earthly way that it was louder than Death Valley last night or Neyland a few weeks ago.

Guess some people have bigger guns than others.

I absolutely don't care. All I care about is if the noise was loud enough to affect the other team. And it was.

I never understood why people feel like they have to have the loudest fans, biggest stadium, etc. Just win. Everybody else can have the loudest and biggest.
